A prediction of sorts

Never used .Mac so I can't comment on that, but this prediction would be pretty sweet. I'm already enjoying the on-way sync between Google Calendar and iCal (which then syncs with my iPod).
Post a reply to this commentWhile the guess doesn't seem very likely to me, it would be pretty nice if it did happen.
As far delay Leopard goes, I am looking forward to some small things in it, but nothing to lose sleep over.
Post a reply to this commentOne thing that .Mac has going for it is a fantastic webmail client; the very best available in my opinion. As for Google integration, if my information is kept private and not used for Google's research/data mining, then I'd be happy to see some modernization of the service. A last caveat: let me keep my @mac.com address!

That's a great idea and I can't imagine any reason both Apple and Google wouldn't find it appealing. Apple has little interest in web services, particularly the long-term data management that comes with hosting mail and websites and photos. The only reason they offer them is because they want to make a seamless experience of putting things online from within their software.
