After an unexpected switcheroo at the network centre, the BeatnikPad should be back on the air after a couple of hours of downtime. How perturbing.

I've been looking at the Trackback feature of Movable Type 2.2, and I likes what I see. It's just summer laziness; I'm thinking I'll set it up sometime next week.
To be honest, though, I'm curious how many people will actually use it? It does seem pretty complicated for your average user to set up. Then again, you could say that about Movable Type, too.
Post a reply to this commentI consider myself to be an average MT-user, and it was pretty easy to setup. This was mostly because Ben and Mena once again managed to write their manual for the people on the floor. I guess Blogger is for the beginners [don't get me wrong, Blogger is great, and plenty blogger-driven blogs are great] and the ones who are too busy to get into the endless options MT has to offer. MT is for the tech-savy, and the summerlazy gits like you and I.

Uhm yeah, I dropped by half a day ago or so, and a very friendly placeholder told me that the installation of the Apache SSL module [or somesuch] was successfully installed. Took me by surpsrise that "the pad" wasn't available. Now, when will you be implementing the trackback feature of MT?
